Cleaning tips for your suncatchers
How to care for your suncatchers
Your suncatchers are delicate creations that deserve gentle and regular care to maintain their brilliance. Here are our tips for keeping them beautiful for as long as possible.
Regular cleaning
- Gently dust your suncatchers with a soft brush or a dry microfiber cloth.
- Avoid rubbing beads, crystals, or wires to prevent damage.
- Carefully remove any cobwebs or accumulated dust.
Deep cleaning
- Prepare a mixture of lukewarm water and a few drops of mild soap (e.g., Marseille soap).
- Dip a soft cloth in this mixture, wring it out thoroughly, then gently wipe glass or crystal elements.
- Rinse with a clean damp cloth, then dry immediately with a dry cloth.
- Never immerse the entire piece in water.
Important precautions
- Avoid harsh chemicals (alcohol, acetone, household cleaners) that could dull beads or damage wires.
- Protect from prolonged direct UV rays: although designed to play with light, excessive exposure can alter some colors.
- Handle with care: always hold the suncatcher by its support and not by the wires or beads.
Storage
- If you need to store your suncatcher, wrap it in tissue paper and place it in a rigid box.
- Avoid damp or very hot places.
